Mother’s Day is a heartwarming festival that the Business and Professionals Alliance for Hong Kong (BPA) never forgets to celebrate. The BPA today (May 10) held a family carnival and a colouring contest award ceremony at Tsing Yi to commemorate the special day and share the joy with the local community.
Honourable guests attending the event included Dr Lo Wai-kwok, BPA Vice Chairman; Mr Zhang Qing, Deputy Director of New Territories Sub-Office of the Liaison Office of the Central People’s Government in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region; Mr Alan Lo Ying-ki, JP, Kwai Tsing District Officer; Mr Fong Ping, BPA District Committee Chairman and Kwai Tsing District Council Chairman; Ms Tam Wai-chun, Kwai Tsing District Council Member; Mr Alan Lee Chi-keung, Kwai Tsing District Council Member; Mr Wong Yiu Chung, Kwai Tsing District Councilor Member; and Mr Bruce Li Ki-fung, BPA Sham Shui Po District Council Member.
Dr Lo paid tribute to mothers by performing a popular Cantonese song “Praise to Parents” on his saxophone. The BPA would like to take the opportunity to wish mothers everywhere a “Happy Mother’s Day”!
