The Business and Professionals Alliance for Hong Kong (BPA) expresses profound sadness at the passing of Director Lu Ping, former Director of the State Council’s Hong Kong and Macao Affairs Office, and extends heartfelt condolences to his family.
Director Lu dedicated himself to ensuring the smooth transition of Hong Kong’s return to the Motherland, and was instrumental in maintaining Hong Kong’s prosperity and stability through the implementation of “One Country, Two Systems”. He cared deeply about Hong Kong and continued to follow closely developments in the SAR after his retirement.
