Students from Sichuan Ya’an were farewelled by their friends in Hong Kong this morning. The five-day visit did not only make memorable and pleasant moments, but also built profound friendship between the teenagers from both places.
The theme of the Sichuan Ya’an delegation is to promote friendship and to learn by sharing. Students from Ya’an started their official trip this morning (23rd July) after a good rest. Their first stop was the City University of Hong Kong, for an orientation and exchange programme.
A powerful earthquake hit the Sichuan province near Ya’an city on 20th April 2013. During the BPA’s visit to Beijing in late April, BPA extended its sympathy to the earthquake victims.
