BPA Symposium on Constitutional Reform

The Business and Professionals Alliance for Hong Kong (BPA) today (14 January) organized a Symposium on Constitutional Reform, which was attended by Mrs. Carrie Lam, Chief Secretary for Administration, Mr. Raymond Tam, Secretary for Constitutional and Mainland Affairs, and Mr. Lau Kong-wah, Under Secretary for Constitutional and Mainland Affairs.

“Creativity and Upward Mobility – Brightening Hong Kong’s Future”

At a meeting today (13 November), the Business and Professionals Alliance for Hong Kong (BPA) presented the Chief Executive, Mr Leung Chun-ying, and the Financial Secretary, Mr John Tsang, with more than 200 proposals that were centred around the theme of “promoting upward social mobility”. These included, among other, expanding the middle-class, encouraging creativity, enhancing skills , raising competitiveness and developing green infrastructure, all of which are critical to a better and brighter future in Hong Kong.

We’ve got grave manpower shortage, the security industry tells BPA

At a meeting with representatives of the Business and Professionals Alliance for Hong Kong (BPA) today (September 10), the security industry reflected that it had problems of hiring staff. In response, Chairman Mr Andrew Leung proposed that more training and promotion opportunities should be offered to attract young people to the industry.
