BPA First Anniversary Dinner

The Business and Professionals Alliance for Hong Kong (BPA) held its First Anniversary Dinner today (17 December). Mr John Tsang, Acting Chief Executive, and Mr Shen Chong, Director General of the Coordination Department, Liaison Office of the Central People’s Government in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, attended as the officiating guests.

At a meeting today (13 November), the Business and Professionals Alliance for Hong Kong (BPA) presented the Chief Executive, Mr Leung Chun-ying, and the Financial Secretary, Mr John Tsang, with more than 200 proposals that were centred around the theme of “promoting upward social mobility”. These included, among other, expanding the middle-class, encouraging creativity, enhancing skills , raising competitiveness and developing green infrastructure, all of which are critical to a better and brighter future in Hong Kong.

BPA Welcomes Issuing Additional Free TV Licences

BPA welcomes the Government’s decision on issuing additional free TV licences and introducing competition into the market. We expect that liberalisation of television market will provide more choices and better quality programmes for the public.
