It was pointed out by Mr Jeffrey LAM yesterday that the slogan of the Business and Professionals Alliance for Hong Kong (BPA) was “drive forward Hong Kong’s economy through commercial and industrial development and help improve people’s livelihood through our professionalism”, whereas “developing the economy and improving people’s livelihood” is its belief.

At a meeting today (November 24), the Business and Professionals Alliance for Hong Kong (BPA) presented over 220 proposals to the Chief Executive, Mr Leung Chun-ying, and the Financial Secretary, Mr John Tsang Chun-wah.
The District Council Election 2015 has been completed on November 22. This was the initial participation of the Business and Professionals Alliance for Hong Kong (BPA), with a total 16 members stood as candidates. As a result, 10 of them were successfully elected.
President, in my capacity as Chairman of the Bills Committee on Clearing and Settlement Systems (Amendment) Bill 2015 (the Bills Committee), I submit the Bills Committee’s report to this Council and report on the key points of the Bills Committee’s work.
President, first of all, I would like to thank Dr CHIANG Lai-wan and five members who have proposed amendments for their concerns about vocational education in Hong Kong. I always believe that vocational education is an indispensible part of Hong Kong’s education system.
